Description

This workflow appears in the pivot menu and allows you to wipe a device in Microsoft Intune. Supported observables: hostname, IMEI, serial number.

Notes:

  • Device wipe behavior can vary depending on the device's operating system/platform. To adjust some of this behavior, update the properties of the "Microsoft Intune - Wipe Device" activity.
  • If multiple devices are returned for the observable provided, the workflow will fail. The workflow only attempts to wipe a device if a single device is found in Intune. You can change this behavior by disabling the "More than 1" condition branch under the "Was a device found?" condition block.

Target: Microsoft Intune

Steps:

  • Determine which observable type was provided
  • Search for a matching device
  • Check if a single device was found:
    • If not, end the workflow
  • Extract the device ID
  • Attempt to wipe the device
  • Check if it was wiped successfully:
    • If it wasn't, output an error
