Description

This workflow appears in the pivot menu and allows you to add an IP address to a network group in Check Point Quantum Smart-1. Supported observables: IP, IPv6

Note: This workflow is designed for use with Quantum Smart-1 Cloud. If you want to use it with an on-premises Smart-1 instance, you may need to deploy an XDR automation remote. See the XDR automation documentation for more information about remotes.

Target: HTTP Endpoint for your Smart-1 web API. For example, "your-tenant.maas.checkpoint.com" with a path of "/tenant-id/web_api"

Steps:

  • Start the configuration session
  • Create the host object for the IP address (if this fails, discard the session and end the workflow)
  • Add the host object to the network group (if this fails, discard the session and end the workflow)
  • Publish the configuration session changes (if this fails, discard the session and end the workflow)
  • End the configuration sessions
